Complex therapeutic approach to critically ill patients with hematological malignancy

Abstract

Patients with haematological malignancy are usually admitted to the ICU for infectious complications with rapid progression to septic shock. Septic shock in these patients very quickly leads to the development of multiorgan failure with the need to support or replace the function of failed organs.
