Methylation analysis in NSCLC. Frequency of gene-specific hypermethylation depending on the histological type of carcinoma and smoking status

Abstract

Authors present analysis of hypermethylations in tumour suppressory genes in non small cell lung cancer tissue in 154 patients. Significant differences in the methylation status of these genes depending on patient´s sex, type of tumour and smoking status were found.
