Abstract
This paper presents antithrombin (AT) characteristics, it is role in the proces of haemocoagulation, sepsis and other vital processes. More details are mentioned about a role of AT in DIC.
Possibilities of the therapeutic use of AT, doses calculations, indications and possible side effects are presented.
