Authors of this post mentioned a current concept of the education of one of the main chapter-Nutrition of patients in Nursing I, II for Czech students, Nursing I, II for foreign students and Nursing procedures in master's and bachelor's degree programs. Interconnections of the theoretical informations with additional practical implementation in the video form of the practical exercises in the laboratory and subsequent clinical practice at the workplace enables compliance with the requirement of didactic clarity, logical coherence and practical feasibility of the newly acquired skills of the student.
The content of the Nutrition of patients contains also serving food according to the level of patient's self-sufficiency, applications of commercially available enteral nutrition via nasogastric tube, including nasojejunal tube, or by percutaneous gastrostomy.
