The importance of communication in interpersonal relations nurses and doctors

Abstract

The paper deals with the satisfaction of doctors and nurses working relationships with a manner and quality of communication in their workplace. Attention is paid to the perspective of nurses and doctors to communicate and interact in various collectives.

Exploratory investigation, which took place at the turn of 2012/13, confirmed the need to emphasize the continuous deepening of the communication skills of health workers and the promotion of positive interpersonal relations at the clinics. A questionnaire survey was conducted in selected departments of the Faculty Hospital Motol and the Masaryk Hospital in Ústí nad Labem.

Anonymous survey was attended by doctors and nurses selected workplaces. Analyzing the results of the investigation, that the quality of communication between members of the nursing staff are heavily involved in evaluating the quality of nursing and medical care of the medical device.
