Abstrakt
This report deals with corrective measures and compensation in environmental protection with a special focus on water law and nature protection law in the Czech Republic. The report focuses on the procedure for applying and imposing corrective measures according to certain environmental acts (Act on the Environment, Water Act, Act on the Protection of Nature and the Landscape) and the Act on Environmental Damage as lex specialis.
The report is fairly critical concerning current practice, which does not ensure the effective protection of the environment.
