Abstract
The book is the second volume within the framework of a four year -research project financed by the Czech Grant Agency. This volume deals with matrimony, the main axis of the early modern gender imagination and discourses.
Beside analytical studies, the book includes an edtion of six treatises on matrimony dating from 1580s to 1620s.
