Heterogeneity of chloroplast ultrastructure and functional characteristics in various parts of maize (Zea mays L.) leaf blade

Abstract

A distinct heterogeneity of mature leaf blade was observed for both structural and functional characteristics of chloroplasts in mesophyll and bundle-sheath cells of fully developed maize leaf
