Abstract
The author of the work has been teaching at the Music Department of Charles University's Pedagogical Faculty in Prague for many years. He is engaged in the aesthetic educational matters and especially in the music education of children below the age od 6.Since the early 1980's, he has been carrying out research by means of which he tries to characterise the internal and external factors which shape the child's musical consciousness in that age.
