Molecular characterization of a calmodulin-like Dictyostelium protein CalB

Abstrakt

A gene named calB was cloned and characterized in Dictiostellium. A relation to calmodulin is suggested by sequence identity and cross-reactivity with anti-CaM sera.

Null mutant has been made and studied.
