Abstract
The conference contribution speaks about the change of the Czech National Bank position after the 1st April 2006 when a change of financial market supervision system in the Czech Republic happened. The stress is put on the independence of the CNB from theoretical financial and constitutional point of view.
Several important Czech Constitutional Court decisions concerning the issue are cited.
