Strategy aimed at reduction of sputum eosinophils decreases exacerbation rate in patients with asthma

Abstract

We investigated whether a strategy to reduce the number of sputum eosinophils (EOS strategy) gives better clinical control and a lower exacerbation rate comparred with the standard strategy
