Abstract
This chapter introduces the project that led to the assembly of interdisciplinary-oriented texts, and presents the foundations upon which such an interdisciplinary dialogue can be conducted. At the same time it briefly lists the various contributions of the book, analyzes them and provides context of the most common recent environmental education approaches.
