Gd(III) complex of a monophosphinate-bis(phosphonate) DOTA analogue with a high relaxivity; Lanthanide(III) complexes for imaging and radiotherapy of calcified tissues

Abstract

Lanthanide(III) complexes monophosphinic-bis(phosphonic) acid DOTA analogue were investigated. Gd(3+) complex has a high relaxivity due to a rich the second hydration sphere and in presence of Ca(2+)/Zn(2+) ions in solution or after hydroxyapatite binding.
