Synthesis, crystal structures and spectroscopic properties of three Zn-cyclen-complexes with new macrocyclic configurations

Abstract

Ternary complexes between Zn(II), cyclen and amino acids (Gly, L-Ala and L-Phe) were synthesized. Their structures were determined X-ray diffraction.

Amino acids are coordinated through the carboxylate oxygen atom.
