Abstract

The article seeks answer to the question whether there is a right to family reunification stipulated in international human rights instruments. It focuses on the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, European Convention on Human Rights and the acquis communautaire and application of those instruments by the relevant courts.

The article also focuses on the concurrent (competing) jurisdiction of international courts in the application of the right of family reunification.
