Preparation, coordination and catalytic use of planar-chiral monocarboxylated dppf analogues

Abstract

A novel planar-chiral monocarboxylated dppf derivative, 1',2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene-1-carboxylic acid, was prepared and converted to a series of amides. The prepared compounds were structurally characterized and tested as ligands in palladium-catalysed asymmetric allylic alkylation.
