Abstract

Optimum conditions are described for the determination of micromolar and submicromolar concentrations of herbicide Bifenox by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) on non-toxic meniscus modified silver solid amalgam electrode (m-AgSAE) in methanol - Briton-Robinson buffer pH 7 (9:1) mixed medium. The limit of quantification was found to be 2.4•10-7 mol.l-1.

Cyclic voltammetry on the same working electrode was used to clarify the mechanism of the electrode reaction.
