Abstract

This book introduces one of the most influential approaches to apply thinking skills classroom principles: so called mediated learning. Chapters include introduction to the theoretical and ideological base for thinking skill classroom, and especially instructions for applying mediated learning in primary school classrooms.

Important part of this book is devoted to the introduction and application of dynamic assessment in school practice. The core inspiration is rooted in R.

Feuerstein's theory of Structure Cognitive Modifiability, because Feuerstein's programme to teach thinking skills Instrumental enrichment is now the only used and adopted programme of its kind in Czech republic. Aim of this book is provide concrete tips and instruction how to apply mediated learning in classroom practice (grade 1-5).
