Abstract
An approach to risk evaluation of the failure of closure municipal landfill sealing layer is given. On the strength of geotechnic observations of chosen landfills in the territory of the Czech Republic was realize lomg-term geodetic manitoring of indicated points fixed on the surface landfill bodies.
