Abstract
The text focuses on the comparison of the teaching natural science subjects in the Czech Republic and in Mexico at elementary and secondary schools. The first part describes the Czech school system, possibilities of financing, ways of evaluation and the curriculum and teaching texts which are used at almost all the schools.
In the second part the text details the school system in Mexico, ways of financing the education, curriculum and teaching texts. The text also compares particular approaches to the integration of natural science subjects and the interconnection among them.
