Consumption of Landscape by Commercial buil-up areas – time-space differentiation in the Czech Republic

Abstract
Increase of commercial and industrial built-up areas in landscape is one of the most important processes, currently in progress, changing the landscape character and landscape functions. The aim of this paper is to quantify the extent of such areas and to identify the most affected localities in the Czech Republic in periods 1990-2000 and 2000-2006.
