Mineralogy of medieval slags from lead and silver smelting (Bohutín, Příbram district, Czech Republic): Towards estimation of historical smelting conditions

Abstract

Medieval slags from the Příbram district are mainly composed of olivine and glass, exhibit high viscosity and probably formed in the temperature range between 800 and 1200 degrees of Celsius.
