Headstream area retention capacity enhancement as an implement against floods and droughts

Abstract

The paper deals with the actual questions related to recent climatic changes and with measures to its compensation. It concentrates to the retention potential assessment in river headstream areas and with the possibilities of its enhancement in context of integrated flood protection and drought problem solving.
