Regional identity, contemporary and historical regions and the issue of relict borders – the case of Czechia

Abstract

The aim of the contribution is to point out the problems of the level of regional identity of inhabitants of a region in connection with the reproduction of this identity on the example of Czechia. Areas with a lower level of regional identity are indentified and their chances to change the regional consciousness and the image of the region assessed.
