Abstract

The article generally deals with the role of the president of the Czech Republic in the ratification process of the Treaties governed by Article 10 of the Czech Constitution. The Author describes historical evolution of the legal institution of ratification and deeply treats various stages of the Czech internal approval procedure of international treaty.

The author describes the status of the head of state in the parliamentary republic and tries to find optimum president's function in the process of ratification and conclusion of international treaties.
