Moral hazard and „Too Big to Fail“: a historical view

Abstract

The article analysis problem of moral hazard in historical framework. The article describes on historical connections practical manifestations doctrine „too big to fail“.

Attention is devoted bank's laws and behaviour governments. Article analyses situation in USA during 1929-1935 and program New Deal and situation in Czechoslovakia in 1920‘s and 1930‘s.

The state intervened in bank sanation twice during economic recession in the early 1920‘s and 1930‘s in Czechoslovakia.
