IL-6 concentration in dialysis solution predicts the rate of increase of peritoneal transport in patients treated by peritoneal dialysis

Abstract

IL-6 concentration in dialysis solution increased during the time on peritoneal dialysis and were a significant, independent predictor of the rate of peritoneal transport. The type of dialysis solution had no effect on IL-6 peritoneal dialysis solutions concentrations.
