Population development of cities of the Czech Republic with population more than 100.000

Abstract

Study is dealing with development of current "a hundred-thousand" cities in the Czech Republic since the first modern population census in the year 1869. During the period 1996-2007, the particular cities development is also analysed in detail of individual components (natality, mortality and migration).

Population prospects of the cities in question are discussed in the end of the contribution.
