Susceptibility of the landscape of the Giant Mountains, Czech Republic, to invasion by Rumex alpinus.

Abstract

The invasion of the alien plant species Rumex alpinus (alpine dock) is a serious problem in the Giant Mountains National Park, Czech Republic. The aim of this study was to identify the species habitat requirements and use this information to identify habitats suitable for the growth of this species.

This information served as a basis for identifying populations that are the most important for the future of the invasion.
