A record of Asian agama of the genus Calotes Cuvier, 1817 (Squamata: Agamidae) in Kenya

Abstract

We demonstrate the first record of Calotes versicolor in the African continent. Besides recognizing this species from the photograph, we were also able to identify it by using DNA sequencing.
