Competition of three oribatid mites (Acari: Oribatida) for fungal food in laboratory experiments

Abstract

We examined the feeding competition of three species of mycophagous oribatid mites in multiple choice feeding preference texts. We offered them different species of saprotrophic fungi as experimental diets.
