Abstract
The article grounds the possibility of a philosophical research on Europe. Regarding the development of European cultures such type of research should deal with the big breaks in its regional differences – this not only in the realm of philosophy but also in politics, science, art, and religion.
Such philosophical research demands both an interdisciplinary as well as an intercultural cooperation, and its place is within the permanent radical change itself since it will be the not-ending self-reflection of a civilization named ‘Europe’.
