Disruption of the plasma membrane structure by depletion of cholesterol impairs effectiveness of TRH receptor-mediated signal transduction via G(q)/G(11)alpha protein
Abstract
Depletion of cholesterol through beta-cyclodextrin treatment of HEK293 cells disrupted the plasma membrane structure and markedly decreased efficacy of signal transduction regulated by TRH receptors.
