Abstract
This article brings new results of the regression analysis applied on information aggregated at national level. Thus, the international comparison was possible.
Environmental Performance Index EPI and its components were used as a source of information on environmental quality in particular countries. On the other hand, selected variables and indicators from New Index of Global Competitiveness GSI and Index of Economic Freedom FTW were used as explanatory factors for the changes in environmental quality.
