Trends in numbers of the Coot (Fulica atra) in the Czech Republic in 1988-2000

Abstract

Changes in abundance of Coot breeding population were analyzed in the Czech Republic in 1988-2000. A significant decrease in numbers of the Coot has been recorded in South, Southwest and Central Bohemia.

Numbers significant increased in Moravia.
