Ethical values of psychosocial crisis assistance in relation to civil protection in information society

Abstract

The purpose of psychosocial crisis assistance is e.g. to support mutual engagement and solidarity of people. The purpose of our crisis laws is to save lives, health, property and environment; a citizen is rather an object of ?being helped?.

We hope that the gap between professional (?they?) and civic (?we altogether?) approach can be bridged over by the ?old good? Geneva Conventions´ stress on human dignity.
