Memory and Remembering in the Post-Communist Context

Abstract

This article analyses examples of remembering, forgetting and falsifying experiences of victim-victimiser relationships during the Communist regimes. With the help of J.B.

Metz's political theology it investigates how and what kinds of remembering the past may help a more truthful understanding of the present and more hopeful relationship to the coming future
