Abstract
The use the antisecretory drugs in clinical practise meant an important step forward in the conservative treatment of gastroduodenal ulcer. Further effectivness of the treatment and minimalisation of relapses of this disease has resulted in the understanding of pathogenetic role of Helicobacter pylori and its eradication.
