Expected and unexpected effects of direct drug application into licking frequency generator in the rat’s brain

Abstrakt

Drugs were applied directly into the central pacemaker of licking. Blocking of non NMDA receptors slowed down whereas blocking of NMDA receptors increased licking frequency.
