Intravenous administration of epinephrine influences proportion of airways’ goblet cells containing fucosylated glycoconjugates.

Abstract

In the rabbit tracheal epithelium, adrenergic stimulation dramatically lowered proportion of goblet cells containing fucosylated glycoconjugates. This decrease was mostly to the prejudice of alpha(1-2) fucosylated glycoconjugates.
