Back pain in hereditary neuropathy

Abstract

Problems with back pain in patients with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease is presented in this paper Incidence of vertebrogenic pain, spine shape deformities and functional musculo-sceletal and postural disorders were followed-up in a group of 40 patients. In 36 patients (90%) vertebrogenic pain was present, functional musculo-sceletal disorders in 38% (95%) and form deformities in 8 patients (20%), It is confirmed by our experiences, that common spine pain are more frequent in these patients and they are connected not only with functional musculo-skeletal and postural spine disorders but with form disorders too, and some other specific factors are playing their role too.
