Abstract

Vaginal disorders are among the most common causes of gynecological outpatient visits. The vast majority of women become ill with vaginal inflammation once in their lifetime.

Vulvovaglnal candidiasis and bacterial vaginosis are dominant vaginal infections that are not sexually transmitted diseases. The sexually transmitted chlamydial infection of the lower genital tract is constantly expanding.

Diagnosis and treatment of all sporadic and uncomplicated inflammation is usually not complicated. However, recurrent and complicated infections are a major problem, which can have serious health consequences with a significant reduction in the quality of life of affected women.
