Abstract
The authors analyze on a case-history the problem of lymphomas of the gastrointestinal tract. The patient was a female who was operated on account of a suspected perforation.
On operation multiple perforations of the small intestine were found. A resection was performed.
According to the histological results it was a giant-cell B-lymphoma of the small intestine. The postoperative course was without major complications.
The patient was referred to the oncological department without further treatment.
