Ultrastructure of tracheal epithelium in rabbits exposed to environment with high temperature and humidity

Abstract

The injury to the tracheal epithelium due to the 4-day exposure to increased temperature and humidity was moderate to severe. The overstimulated goblet cells mostly degenerated.

Incipient changes in goblet cells distribution were recorded.
