Leksell gamma knife lesioning of the rat hippocampus: the relationship between radiation dose and functional and structural damage

Abstrakt

The study tries to determine which radiation dose leads to impaired hippocampal function, following radiosurgery of the rat hippocampus using a Leksell gamma knife and find a therapeutic window for radiosurgical epilepsy treatment.
