Abstract

Central European tick-borne encephalitis affects several hundred patients a year in the Czech Republic. The disease usually has a good prognosis, but long-term convalescence or long-term rehabilitation is required for the developed polio.

The number of diseases has been growing in recent years. The article presents the forms of the disease, the possibilities of diagnosis, treatment and prevention.
