LEEP techniques are currently considered to be the method of choice for treatment of high grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (1). Two groups of patients with endocervicaly localized lesions were compared in our study: 200 of them treated by LEEP cone and 200 hundred patients treated by the new technique of needle cone - modificated technique combining benefits of LEEP techniques and technique of LASER conisation.

Comparison of the following parameters was subject of the study: excisions of the lesion in tote, free margin of the specimen and residual disease in the rest of the uterine cervix. From the results of our study we concluded that newly introduced method of needle cone exhibits better performance parameters than commonly used LETZ, LLETZ thus suggesting higher effectiveness of treatment by this method.
