Abstract

In the prospective study effectivity of the antiemetic treatment during cisplatinum chemotherapy was evaluated. First group of 25 patients was treated in 138 cycles by granisetron and dexamethason.

Adequate control group o/ 25 patients was treated by ondansetron and dexamethason. In case of the acute nausea and vomiting granisetron was effective in more than 11% of patients than in corresponding group treated by ondasetron.

In the late nausea and vomiting results were identical.
