Abstract
The created prognostic system as the model picture of a real system of the municipal waste management in the Czech Republic has built a basic „architecture“ of the solution to the prognostic essay dealing with the search for possible futures of this system by 2020 and key factors that could effect the development of the system. The futures of the system have been described on the base of the development of representative characteristics using a mathematical apparatus of linear regressions and a rate of meeting requirements of system users in the environment of four scenarios of the Czech Republic economic development, and the development of legal regulations in waste management.
